Compliance and complaints procedure

AFM Supervision

Azarja Financial Services B.V. holds a license from the Netherlands Authority for the Financial Markets (AFM) for investment advice. This means Azarja has a license to provide advice in the Netherlands regarding participation rights in investment institutions (investment funds) and to transmit orders to participate in those funds. The license is registered with the AFM under number 12048683.

Complaints Procedure

Despite the care we take in our service delivery, it may happen that expectations are not met. Complaints can be submitted via email info@azarja.nl or by mail to Azarja Private Office, Keizersgracht 62, 1015 CS Amsterdam.

A written complaint must contain at least:

  • A clear description of the complaint
  • Name and address details, telephone number and email address
  • Relevant documentation to support the complaint

Complaints must be submitted within one year of the incident. Azarja will send an acknowledgment of receipt within four weeks and respond substantively as soon as possible.

Dispute Resolution Procedure

When a complaint is not resolved satisfactorily, it can be submitted to the Financial Services Complaints Institute (KiFID). Azarja Financial Services B.V. is affiliated with KiFID under registration number 300.018285. KiFID is an independent financial disputes body that handles complaints from private individuals after the complaints procedure described above has been followed. This can be done within three months of Azarja’s response. KiFID can be reached via:
